My name is Katie, and I am a potter based out of Bloomington, IN. I fell in love with ceramics as a consumer and love the unique craftsmanship that goes into every piece. I decided to take a class at my local community studio and was instantly hooked to the creative process of working with clay. I found a calmness with wheel throwing unlike anything I’ve experienced before, and I have been drawn to experimenting more with texture, carving, and testing new glaze combinations.
